Why Choose MBM Vet Group?

Our goal is excellence in veterinary care. But how do we achieve that and how does it benefit you and your animal?

Our friendly veterinary staff work in three separate departments for pets, farm animals and horses

  • By specialising into teams, our vets can offer a greater depth of knowledge and experience when treating your animals
  • We fund annual training and encourage further qualifications for all of our staff, to develop their clinical interests and ensure that we are at the forefront of current best practice
  • Many of our vets have RCVS-recognised postgraduate qualifications and we have an RCVS Specialist on our Farm team

We are here for you and your animals twenty-four hours a day

  • Out of hours emergency veterinary care or free telephone advice is always available
  • Twenty-four hour hospital care for pets is provided at our Kilmarnock branch

We make ongoing investments in our long-established veterinary practice

  • All of our branches are accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards scheme
  • We regularly update and replace our medical and surgical equipment to improve our ability to diagnose and treat your animals
  • You have access to services and facilities for your animal at any of our branches, not just the branch you’re registered with

We promote animal welfare and work to benefit our local communities

  • We produce our own client information newsletters and website, and we hold regular free client information events
  • We work with several animal charities in Ayrshire including the PDSA, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Cats Protection, Dogs Trust, Springer Rescue, Boxer Welfare Society, Greyhound Awareness League and Dog Aid Society
  • Two of our branches are Veterinary Nurse Training Practices, providing career development and employment opportunities for young people in Ayrshire

We achieve all of this while keeping our fees affordable

  • We offer our Pet Health Club for pets, spreading the cost and giving you great savings on regular preventative care
  • We can deal with difficult cases in a number of disciplines, reducing the need for more costly referrals to other centres
  • We do not charge administration fees for completing insurance claim forms
